A Smile You'll Love

You might be surprised at how easy it is to transform your teeth into a more beautiful smile. At Young Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, we have a wide range of dental procedures available to remake your smile, and most of them require only a few office visits. If you have ever felt dissatisfied with the appearance of your teeth, let Dr Dan "Kip" Young show you how you could achieve a smile you'll love.

Porcelain Veneers

Traditional braces can take years to give you the smile you want. With porcelain veneers, you can have perfectly straight, bright white teeth in as little as two visits to our office. Porcelain veneers are extremely thin porcelain covers that slip over your teeth and are bonded in place, masking chips, stains and misalignment.

Dr Young uses a revolutionary new procedure when he applies porcelain veneers. Usually, veneer application requires that your dentist remove significant amounts of tooth surface before attaching the veneer. Dr Young can apply veneers without removing much tooth structure at all, giving you a straight, shining smile while keeping your teeth almost perfectly intact. Contact Young Family & Cosmetic Dentistry if you are interested in porcelain veneers.

All-Porcelain Crowns

If teeth are severely damaged or discolored, porcelain crowns can be used to restore their appearance as well as their function. A crown is a porcelain artificial tooth that completely covers an existing tooth. Dr Young can attach crowns without removing a large amount of existing tooth structure.

The crowns that Dr Young uses are made entirely of porcelain. Many crowns are made of a porcelain tooth bonded to a metal foundation. The metal in these crowns tends to discolor, leaving a dark, unsightly ring around the base of the tooth. Dr Young's all-porcelain crowns are strong, long-lasting, and are almost completely indistinguishable from other teeth.

Teeth Whitening

Young Family & Cosmetic Dentistry is happy to offer advanced teeth whitening procedures to our patients. Food, drinks, tobacco and other factors can cause teeth to discolor over time, giving once-white smiles a yellow, stained aspect. Now, with our powerful teeth bleaching, you can turn back the clock, restoring your teeth to their natural sparkling white color.

Dr Young offers a variety of options to get your teeth as brilliantly white as they can be. Contact our office today to find out more about teeth whitening.

Bonding

Cosmetic bonding can provide an excellent way to repair chips, cracks, discoloration, and misalignment of teeth. A thin coating of a specially-designed bonding agent is applied to problem areas of your teeth. The bonding agent strengthens teeth, repairs damage, and conceals the trouble spots. Bonding can even be used to correct spaces between teeth. Contact the office of Dr Young to find out if bonding is a good option for you.

CEREC® Restorations

The convenience and aesthetic result of CEREC® restorations are unparalleled. Dr. Young’s training and experience allow him to provide beautiful restorations that look incredibly lifelike – as good as or better than traditional restorations.  Instead of having to wait several weeks for a dental laboratory to create your restoration, Dr. Young can craft it while you relax in the dentist’s chair.  You won’t have to miss several days of work, have a second procedure, or wear a temporary.  Moreover, with CEREC® technology, no messy impressions or molds are necessary. Instead, Dr. Young takes a digital picture of your tooth and turns it into a 3-D model using CEREC® 3D software. Dr. Young then designs a restoration as you watch and sends the information to the CEREC® milling unit to create a natural-looking, custom-colored restoration on the spot. The materials used are strong and completely metal-free, making CEREC® restorations among the safest and most durable restorations available.

To learn more about how you can benefit from CEREC® technology or another cosmetic dentistry option, contact our office to schedule a consultation.
