Porcelain Veneers

All-Porcelain Crowns

A crown is a porcelain restoration that strengthens and restores a tooth to a natural shape and size.  Crowns with metal a metal bases tend to discolor over time –  leaving a dark, unsightly ring around the base of the tooth. The crowns that Dr Young uses are made entirely of porcelain.  These all-porcelain crowns are strong, long-lasting, and are almost completely indistinguishable from other healthy teeth. Instead, Dr. Young takes a digital picture of your tooth and turns it into a 3-D model using CEREC® 3D software. Dr. Young then designs a restoration as you watch the CEREC® milling unit to create a natural-looking, custom-colored restoration on the spot. The materials used are strong and completely metal-free, making CEREC® restorations among the safest and most durable restorations available.
